Out of School Youth Career Specialist

LOCATION : PA CareerLink in Trevose, PA with frequent travel throughout Bucks County including but not limited to the Upper Bucks Campus in Perkasie, PA

To support Out-of-School Youth participants in achieving self-sufficiency through employment goals, including providing 'soft skills' training, assisting with resume and job search documentation, coaching in interview techniques, facilitating workforce development curriculum (both virtual and in-person), overseeing student utilization of the Bucks Ascend app, representing the OSY program in meetings, fostering relationships with community-based organizations, coordinating paid and unpaid work experiences, and liaising with businesses to secure employment training opportunities.

Salary : $52,600

Pre-placement physical & driver's license check is required.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree

1-3 years experience working with job seekers and employers or working with youth between 17-24

Experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications and the ability to learn new data systems (i.e. Workday, CWDS, Suitable, etc.)

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Demonstrated ability to manage projects and understand budgets

Ability to travel to various locations, within Bucks County

Individuals must be comfortable with public speaking

Preferred Qualification :

Experience working with youth

Additional Information : This position is currently operating on a hybrid schedule, with an on-campus / in office presence 3 days a week.

This position is located at the PA CareerLink - Trevose and subject to their hours of coverage which may vary from the college's vacation, holiday, and working schedules.
